New Patients/First Visit
The most important part of your first visit is the examination. The doctor will examine your jaws, teeth, gums, and your entire mouth for signs of cavities and gum disease. We will also check your bite and even check for any signs of oral cancer. Also, you will have a chance to discuss any of your own concerns about the health or appearance of your teeth. After all of this the doctor will recommend a treatment plan that is tailored to your needs and wishes. It is a good idea to arrive 10 minutes early.
Bring along any medications that you take and if you have dental insurance then bring that information as well

Child's First Visit
Age 1½ or 2 is a good time to bring your child for their first visit. Usually the first visit is merely an opportunity for show and tell so your child can become comfortable with the office and the dentist. An examination, radiographs, cleaning and fluoride will only be done if necessary and only after your child has become acquainted with the office.
